Private Events

Aventino hosts private events in Bethesda, MD, from birthday dinners and rehearsal dinners to corporate gatherings and full restaurant buyouts. The same Roman-Italian kitchen that runs dinner service cooks for your group: handmade pastas, antipasti, wood-grilled secondi, and an Italian wine and spritz list, served in a 130-seat dining room built around a deep-green tiled bar and velvet booths on Bethesda Row.

Spaces and capacity

The elevated dining room is our semi-private space, set a few steps above the main floor and available for seated dinners and receptions. For larger celebrations, the whole restaurant can be reserved as a full buyout, bookable up to 30 days in advance. Groups of up to 8 can reserve a table directly on Resy; for anything larger, email events@aventinocucina.com and we will match your party to the right space. Aventino is fully wheelchair accessible, and a private parking garage sits under the building with entrances on Bethesda Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue.

Menus and formats

Event menus draw from the current dinner menu: Roman antipasti and supplì to start, handmade pastas such as tonnarelli cacio e pepe and rigatoni carbonara, wood-grilled fish and meat, and house-made desserts. We can build a set menu or a family-style format around your group, with Italian wines, spritzes, and cocktails from the bar. Cakes made in house are available by special request with at least 72 hours notice. Lunch and weekend brunch groups are welcome too. An automatic 20 percent service charge is added for parties of 8 or more.
